DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: \nAs a precautionary measure against the spread of the COVID-19 virus\, the ANU is cancelling all public and social events from Monday 16 March until the end of semester one (Saturday 20 June). \nThis includes all CCA General Meetings\, including this one 🙁 \n  \n\n\n\nCome and hear a rundown of the CCA’s recent activities plus general climbing news and points of interest\, including the latest news on the effects of the ACT bushfires on climbing areas. This will be followed by our guest speaker presentation. \nCCA members and non-members are welcome. \nGuest speakers: Caitlin Horan & Peter Blunt\n\nIn September 2019\, local climbers Cait Horan\, Greg Fisher\, and Peter Blunt successfully climbed the Nose on El Capitan after nearly a week of grueling climbing and only a few hours of sleep here and there. \nCait and Peter will share with us tonight some of the pain and the glory of this epic trip. \nPeter Blunt\, Cait Horan and Greg Fisher at the top of their climb of the Nose on El Capitan\, September 2019.
