Marty Beare, former NZMGA and UIAGM mountain guide and director of Aspiring Guides, navigates a pathway for us through the Snowy Mountains to New Zealand, Aoraki/Mt Cook and beyond. Hiking, mountaineers and ice climbing, into a deeper relationship with mountains and adventure. Illustrated with stunning images, music and some surprising practical demonstrations. Followed by a Q and A. All in 1 hour!

Special Resolution vote at the General Meeting on 22 July 2026 Canberra Climbers Association (CCA) is a Not For Profit (NFP) organisation registered as an Incorporated Association in the ACT under the Associations Incorporation Act 1991. https:// www.accesscanberra.act.gov.au/business-and-work/associations-co-ops- and-charities/incorporated-associations

The ACT Government published a set of standardised “ModelRules” in 2024 for use by Incorporated Associations, and CCA voted to adopt these at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

As part of these new rules, CCA is required to pass a Special Resolution nominating another association for the Associations Incorporation Act 1991 in which to vest its surplus property in the event of the dissolution or winding up of the association.

To this end a Special Resolution will be moved at the General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 22nd July at the Ainslie Football Club to nominate another association in which to vest its surplus property in the event of the dissolution or winding up of the Canberra Climbers Association.

All current members of CCA present at the meeting will be eligible to vote on the resolution.
