Pre Trip Planning

To get a CCA event approved some basic planning and documentation needs to be put together. These are standard documents required by our Operations Manual / Insurance processes.

The basic steps for getting a trip planned are:

  1. Create a folder in DropBox for the event, under \CCA Members\Club Activities\Insured activities\
    1. the folder name should be YYYY-MM-DD {location}
  2. Create the standard documents for the event
    • CCA Activity Proposal
    • Emergency Response Plan
    • Equipment Lists for Group and Participants
    • Risk Management Plan
    • Newsletter text
      • This is the text which will be used for the event on the website later.
  3. Once these documents are complete they can be submitted to Zac and Jim for approval
