Blue Lake in Kosciuszko National Park, NSW, is a rare and beautiful cirque lake which has some of the clearest waters of any Australian lake. Granite cliffs of up to 55m overlook the west side of Blue Lake, providing some wonderful traditional climbing and the only alpine climbing area in Australia.
CCA holds this climbing weekend annually. It is open to all CCA members and to non-members who join CCA at the beginning of the weekend.Find out more »

Gibraltar Peak and surrounds are a multi-level maze of boulders that offer some fine climbing. Most climbs are single-pitch and many are fully bolted, while others are a mixture of bolts and natural gear. Many of the climbs are in the sun for at least part of the day, making this a great place for a sunny winter’s day.
